Red Lokai

This December I purchased the red lokai to help donate to Save the Children. For the month of December you can purchase a red lokai and one dollar will be given to help this amazing organization.

Save the Children's mission is to transform the lives of girls and boys in the U.S. and around the world.

Pink Lokai

In honor of October being breast cancer awareness month, lokai and the Susan G. Komen foundation have teamed up together in making a pink lokai.

Starting October 1st through October 31st, lokai will be selling the pink lokai to support Susan G. Komen's mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

I have purchased my pink lokai in honor of my Aunt Artie and my late Aunt Tina. They will forever be my #lokaihero.

The link to buy the pink lokai is below.

Wild Lokai

So as some of you may know, lokai has a new limited addition bracelet out from now until July 28, 2015. For every bracelet bought $1 will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund to help endangered animals. Get your bracelet soon so you can help out as well!

I love lokai bracelets because I love giving back. This is a simple, easy and fashionable way to give back.

New lokai Bracelet

So, I recently bought a lokai bracelet. If you aren't familiar with the lokai bracelet, it is literally a bracelet that radiates positivity. There are two "beads" on opposite ends of the bracelet. One bead is black and the other white. The black bead has mud from The Dead Sea which happens to be the lowest point on the earth, and the white bead has water from Mount Everest which happens to be the highest point on the earth.

The meaning written from the makers of the lokai bracelet is, "Sometimes you're on top of the world. Stay humble. Sometimes you've hit a low. Stay hopeful." As a human being, I, as well as others have ups and downs in life and this bracelet is supposed to remind you to keep moving forward on your life journey.

Right now in my life, I would say that I'm not particularly happy or sad, I guess just content. However, I know what it feels like to be happy. At one point in my life, I was surrounded by people who outweighed the negativity that kept surrounding me. Now that I am entering the "adult world" I feel that happiness being taken away from me.

With this being my first blog post, I wanted to not only create positivity and help make others create a happiness in their lives, but to help myself find that happiness that I have been lacking for several years. Enjoy your life, because you are only given one life to live.
